Join us for a donation-based all-levels meditation class to raise money for the non-profit Warriors at Ease, which brings yoga and meditation into military communities and helps service members, veterans and their families with their post-traumatic growth and healing.

This class is open to the public as a fundraiser for Warriors at Ease and is appropriate for those who do and do not have physical disabilities. Students do not need to bring anything except themselves! Mats, props and water will be provided by the studio.

This all-levels meditation class will be taught by Frank Williams. Frank began teaching at Sterling Yoga in 2001 and received his Yogafit Teacher Training in 2008. He continues expanding his knowledge by attending workshops focusing on various styles of yoga presented by Cora Wen, Bekir Algan, and Doug Keller. His classes focus on strength, stamina, and balance within the framework of the individual student. Deeply introspective and philosophical, Frank feels many students use their mind in a restrictive manner. He brings a unique mind/body connection and helps students achieve a deeper awareness.

Frank is an IFPA Masters Pro Bodybuilder. As a competitive bodybuilder and powerlifter, he brings a unique aspect of mental focus and strength to his classes. Frank has been a personal trainer since 1995, advising clients about diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes to accomplish their goals. Adding yoga to his regime in 2005 shows that yoga is truly beneficial to an athlete or weekend warrior.

Sterling Yoga & Wellness Center follows the style of Iyengar yoga while also striving to help students attain their goals. We strive to 1) educate students about their health, bodies, and how they work, 2) heal and invigorate the bodies that we have right now, 3) prevent future injuries and imbalances through focused monthly themes on common issues we all deal with in modern life, and 4) inspire everyone to become their best and happiest selves through a mindful yoga practice that is both challenging and appropriate for all people at all levels of skill and ability.
